Statement from our CEO

Healing the planet’s atmosphere is a pretty straightforward proposition. Basically, we stop burning fossil fuels to produce energy for electricity, heat, and transportation and replace them with renewable energy such as wind, solar, and biofuels.

You’re cordially invited to a Pig Roast and Community Gathering at the New Energy Freedom site in Mason City on June 6th

May 11, 2023

The clean, green, American dream has found its home in Mason City. Welcome to the future clean-tech campus where plant-based fuels and chemicals will be made from Iowa’s crop residues.

Please accept our invitation to meet your new neighbors (that’s us!), get reacquainted with some old friends and constituents, and have a good toe-tapping, hum-along time.

You won’t go away hungry, thirsty, or unappreciated. And you won’t leave uninformed.

New Energy Freedom marks the birth of green manufacturing of the lowest-carbon auto fuel, jet fuel, and green chemicals—all made from plant material like local corn stalks, grain straws, and grasses, the leftovers of each year’s harvest. We’ll not only produce renewables with zero fossil carbon but also invite the world to learn how to expand the green replacement of everything produced by oil refineries today.

Please join us and find out more about the new campus we’re building, all the green jobs we’re creating, the second income farmers will get for each year’s crop, and the infusion of revenue (and taxes) into the local economy. America’s first sustainable biomass refinery is not just economically invigorating for Mason City but prestige-building for all of Iowa and a breath of fresh air for the whole world.

If you like, you can stand up, remind folks who you are, and say a few words of encouragement. Festivities start around 4 pm.
